Napoleon, also known as mille-feuille, is a French pastry that is made from layers of puff pastry and pastry cream. The pastry is named after Napoleon Bonaparte, although its origins are unclear. The layers of puff pastry are baked until golden and crispy, and then layered with sweet pastry cream. The top of the pastry is often finished with a dusting of powdered sugar or a glaze. Napoleon is a popular dessert in many countries around the world, and can be found in bakeries and cafes. It is a rich and indulgent treat that is perfect for special occasions or as a sweet ending to a meal.
